学习资源中心新开通了以下数据库，详细信息如下：

1. NoteExpress 参考文献管理软件（试用期截至2021年11月30日）

NoteExpress是一款基于客户端的个人文献管理应用，主要作用是帮助用户收集并有效管理文献资料，在撰写学术论著时快速、准确地插入引文及参考文献。该软件对中文文献管理及中文写作有较好的支持，提供多项人性化功能，使用方便。其核心功能是帮助读者在整个科研流程中高效利用电子资源：检索并管理得到的文献摘要、全文；在撰写学术论文、学位论文、专著或报告时，可在正文中的指定位置方便地添加文中注释，然后按照不同的期刊，学位论文格式要求自动生成参考文献索引。

注意：该软件目前仅支持Windows系统使用，首次使用需安装客户端软件。另外，使用 NoteExpress仍需通过校园网IP验证，因此在开启应用时需接入校园网。

CSMAR, short for China Stock Market & Accounting Research Database, is a comprehensive research-oriented database focusing on China finance and economy. CSMAR was developed by Shenzhen CSMAR Data Technology Co., Ltd based on academic research needs, meeting with the international professional standards while adapting to China’s features. Currently LRC has access to the following contents in CSMAR:

3. SciVal                  

SciVal is an online tool that offers quick, easy access to the research performance of over 20,000 research institutions and their associated researchers from 230 nations worldwide. It enables users to visualize their research performance, benchmark relative to peers, develop collaborative partnerships and analyze research trends. The data source for SciVal metrics is the Scopus database.

Please note that to access SciVal, you must get a personal Elsevier account to sign in. If you have previously created a personal Elsevier account for Scopus or Science Direct, you do not need to create another account. And if not, please sign up for a personal Elsevier account with your UIC email address.

4. Optica Publishing Group

The Optica Publishing Group (formerly the Optical Society of America) offers the largest collection of peer-reviewed optics and photonics content. This cutting-edge repository includes content from its prestigious journals and co-publications. It offers the highest number of article citations (38%) than any other publisher in the Optics category of the 2021 Journal Citation Report. With more than 400,000 journal articles, conference papers, and videos to search, discover, and access, Optica Publishing Group represents the full range of research in the field from around the globe.

5. China and the Modern World: Missionary, Sinology, and Literary Periodicals, 1817–1949          

The Missionary, Sinology, and Literary Periodicals collection includes 17 English-language periodicals published in or about China during a period of over 130 years, extending from 1817 until the founding of the People’s Republic of China in 1949. Set within the context of such major historical events as the Opium Wars, the Taiping Rebellion, the Boxer Rebellion, the Revolution of 1911, the second Sino-Japanese War, and the Chinese Civil War, these periodicals illuminate the thoughts of Chinese intellectuals and Western missionaries and diplomats about China—and, more importantly, their efforts to understand Chinese culture and transform the nation in the years before 1949. This resource also features a significant collection of articles and photos on the founding and development of Christian higher education in China, including the establishment and growth into prominence of such institutions as Yenching University, the University of Nanking, Ginling College, Shandong Christian University, Soochow University, St. John’s University, Shanghai Baptist College, and the Canton Christian College.

Global Science Press (GSP) is a fast-growing scientific publishing company based in Hong Kong, China. GSP aims to publish the state-of-the-art research, to provide the most professional platform for scientists to contribute their latest discoveries, and to connect scientists globally in the areas of, but not limited to mathematics, chemistry, physics & computational sciences.

All of the GSP journals have contributions from world-renowned scientists, with Communications in Computational Physics rated as one of the top Mathematical Physics journals in 2021. Majority of its journals rank in the Q1/Q2 quartile in the Scimago Josurnal Rank.

7. ProQuest Dissertations & Theses Global      

ProQuest Dissertations & Theses Global offers access to 5 million citations to dissertations and theses from around the world from 1637 to the present day together with over 2.7 million full text dissertations that are available for download in PDF format. The database offers full text for most of the dissertations added since 1997 and strong retrospective full text coverage for older graduate works. Over 200,000 new dissertations and theses are added to the database each year.

8. ProQuest One Academic     

ProQuest One Academic offers access to four core multi-disciplinary products – ProQuest Central, Academic Complete, Academic Video Online and ProQuest Dissertations & Theses Global. Academic Complete provides authoritative, full-text e-books in a wide range of subject areas along with powerful tools to find, use, and manage the information. Academic Video Online makes video material available with curricular relevance: documentaries, interviews, performances, news programs and newsreels, and more. ProQuest Central is the largest single periodical resource available, bringing together complete databases across all major subject areas. It also includes thousands of full-text newspapers from around the world. ProQuest Dissertations & Theses Global is the world's most comprehensive collection of dissertations and theses from around the world, with a citation coverage dating back to 1637. It offers full text access to more than 2.7 million works. Each year over 200,000 works are added.

9. 中国工程科技知识中心

中国工程科技知识中心是中国工程院联盟国内30多家科研院所、高等院校共同打造的工程科技领域信息汇聚中心、数据挖掘中心和知识服务中心。它提供中国工程科技领域的期刊杂志、文献、学位论文、科研成果、工程会议、行业标准、产业政策等各类资源综合检索、统一导航、在线阅读和下载服务，从而为科研、决策过程的提供知识服务。

目前，知识中心已推出系列特色数据库（称为“知领·特色数据库”），包括全球科研项目库、政策库、智库观点、知领直播、全球统计数据库。
