The Learning Resource Centre is offering free trial access to two new databases —— 雕龙中日古籍全文资料库 (till Dec. 31, 2020) and Web of Science (till Dec. 11, 2020).

1.   雕龙中日古籍全文资料库 (Trial till Dec. 31, 2020)

雕龙中日古籍全文检索数据库，是一个由中国大陆，中国台湾地区和日本三方古籍研究专家研制之超大型中日古籍全文检索数据库，收录古籍多达2万余种，并且数据库内容还在持续进行扩充。该数据库目前由下列分库组成：1.正统道藏、2.道藏辑要、3.永乐大典、4.四部丛刊、5.续四部丛刊 (四部备要) 、6.中国地方志（两辑）、7.六府文藏、8.清代史料、9.古今图书集成、10.日本古典书籍、11.敦煌史料、12.雕龙续修四库全书、13. 雕龙四库全书 、14.清代朱卷 、15.中国民间文学 、16. 四库未收书 、17.四库存目书 、18.四库禁毁书、19.医家库全辑。

2.   Web of Science (Trial till Dec. 11, 2020)

Web of Science is a collection of databases that index the world’s leading scholarly literature in the sciences, social sciences, arts, and humanities, as published in journals, conference proceedings, symposia, seminars, colloquia, workshops, and conventions across the globe. During the trial period, users have access to the following citation indexes:

Science Citation Index Expanded: 1945-present
Social Sciences Citation Index: 1956-present
Arts & Humanities Citation Index: 1975-present
Emerging Sources Citation Index: 2015-present

Discipline: Multidisciplinary

You may access the new databases via E-resources on LRC website.

Please note:
Simply click on individual databases to gain direct access when you are on campus. Otherwise, you need to use the CISCO VPN service to access the e-resources off campus (i.e. at dormitory, home, etc).
