The Learning Resource Centre is situated in the center of the campus, Block 9, 2000 Jintong Road, Tangjiawan, Zhuhai, Guangdong Province, China. The Centre has an area of about 18,000 m2. It provides more than 1,800 seats.
Learning Commons: There are 2 Learning Commons on the 1st floor which provide a conducive environment for students to interact and conduct academic discussions. These are ideal places for our faculty members or special guests to host talks and seminars.
Computer Workstations: There are 198 computer workstations with internet access for students to access LRC's e-resources and do their academic assignments in the LRC.
Newspaper and Magazine Room: Our collection offers a variety of English and Chinese newspapers/magazines. Comfortable seating is provided here. Newspapers and magazines are not allowed to be taken out.

Self-Check Units:Two Self-Check Units are available in LRC (2 on the 2nd floor) which enable borrowers to process loans (borrow/return books) by themselves. Items that CANNOT be returned using the Self-Check Units and must be returned at the Circulation Desk are: overdue books, Course Reserves, items requested by other users, video recordings, headsets, and remote controls.
Group Study Rooms: There are 18 group study rooms available for BNBU students to work on their class projects. Reservations can be made in person at the Circulation Desk. Users must comply with all rules and regulations related to use of the group study rooms.
Computer Classroom: LRC has a classroom equipped with 55 computer workstations on the 1st floor for Information Literacy Education and small group lectures. You may send your request to library@uic.edu.cn and Cc (carbon copy) your division dean and AR (uicar@uic.edu.cn) on your email. Your request will be answered within 2 working days. Please note that we do not accept last minute booking.
Meeting Room: Situated on the 2nd floor, this room is equipped with a 65'' mobile touch-screen TV, projector, and a 200'' projection screen.
Superstar (Chaoxing) Chinese E-book Kiosks: There are 2 Superstar Chinese E-book Kiosks in LRC on the 1st and 2nd floor. Each kiosk provides more than 3000 Chinese e-books covering a wide range of subjects that can be downloaded to mobile devices for free by scanning the QR code. The books are updated monthly.
RFID Smart Bookshelves: 3 RFID Smart Bookshelves are located on the 2nd floor. They house the newly cataloged books. The LCD touch screen monitors allow quick access to library catalog and pinpoint the location of the books.
Self-Service Printing & Photocopying: LRC provides multi-functional printers on the 1st, 3rd & 4th floor for users to make a copy of documents for the purposes of research and private study. All photocopying and printing must comply with the Copyright Law and Guidelines.
Mindfulness Rooms: Mindfulness Rooms are located on the 3rd and 4th floor. These comfortable and quiet corner are furnished with rocking chairs. These rooms are designed for library users to relax, revitalize and re-gather thoughts.
Active Learning Classrooms: There are 2 Active Learning Classrooms on the 2nd floor in LRC to support teaching and learning in BNBU. Teachers can book the classrooms to carry out flipped classroom and blended learning strategy.
Exhibition Room: The Exhibition Room houses high-quality art books as well as students' and teachers' artwork. In this room there is a unique collection of inksticks donated by BNBU staff. The inkstick collection is engraved with religious texts and pictures from Buddhism and Taoism. These inksticks present high artistic and cultural value.
Audio-Visual Room: The Audio-Visual Room is located on the 2nd floor. It houses 6 multimedia stations to facilitate the use of audio-visual materials in different formats, including DVDs, CDs, and blue-rays. Users can also view the annual collection of the 24 Frames Films and the musical Legend produced by BNBU's CTV students.
24-Hour Self-Service Book Return Unit: The 24-Hour Self-Service Book Return Unit is located on the 2nd floor. This machine enables library users to return books at their own convenience.
Public Reading Area: Located near the entrance on the 2nd floor, LRC's Public Reading Area is open to the public and provides them with access to local newspapers and magazines.
