The library is offering trial of RefWorks--an online research management, writing and collaboration tool-- from now till January 31st, 2015.

RefWorks is a web-based bibliography and database manager that helps you create citations and reference lists for your writings. You can import references of books, articles, theses, dissertations, conference proceedings, etc. from online databases and other various sources into RefWorks, and export them in the reference styles you choose (APA, MLA, Chicago, etc.) into Word or other types of documents.

The first time you use RefWorks, you need to sign up for a new account while you are ON CAMPUS or via VPN (Group code is available upon request: Email should be sent to library@uic.edu.cn). Once you have set up your account, you can access your RefWorks anywhere, anytime directly.

RefWorks video tutorials are available on iSpace (access through Learning Resource Centre). The first time you access library’s RefWorks course, please click “Enrol me”.
