The construction of the new LRC is well underway with expected occupancy set at later this semester. We will keep you informed of the progress as updated information becomes available.

Meanwhile, the LRC continues to provide services in the old SHCV and we have revised our hours and services with effect from Tuesday, September 19th 2017 as follows:

• Opening hours: Monday to Sunday 09:00 to 21:30

• All normal circulating materials (except Course Reserves) with due dates in September and October will be extended till further notice.

• 24/7 access to online databases, electronic journals and electronic books.

• Inter-library Loan requests should be sent to ill@uic.edu.cn.

• Other books requests may be sent to library@uic.edu.cn.

We would like to remind our users that LRC staff members are packing up our book collections on the 3rd and 4th floors, as such, noise and traffic cannot be avoided, we therefore ask for your patience and understanding.
